Description

June is National Homeownership Month, and we're celebrating by highlighting the programs and resources helping more Nevadans achieve the dream of homeownership.

Join us for an informative Lunch & Learn featuring experts from Nevada Rural Housing, the Nevada Housing Division, and the mortgage lending industry. Attendees will learn about a variety of homeownership assistance programs available across the state.

Katie Coleman, Christopher Mora, and Kevin Hickey from Nevada Rural Housing will talk about their Home at Last, Rural Rocks, and Launchpad programs. They will also discuss the newly launched Keys to the Missing Middle program and homebuyer education.

Josie Hatem from the Nevada Housing Division will provide an overview of the Division’s homeownership programs, including Home Is Possible, and other resources designed to support first-time and repeat homebuyers.

The session will also feature a market update and lender perspective from Jorge Montoya of Guild Mortgage, who will discuss current homeownership trends, challenges facing prospective buyers, and what he's seeing in Nevada's housing market today.

Whether you're a housing professional, community partner, or simply interested in expanding homeownership opportunities in Nevada, this session will provide valuable insights into the tools and programs making homeownership more accessible across our state.
